"The Gospel of Life is at the heart of Jesus' message. Lovingly received day after day by the Church, it is to be preached with duantless fidelity as "good news" to the people of every age and culture." ~Blessed Pope John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae, March 25, 1995

 Our Mission Minimize

Mission Statement of the Archdiocese of Chicago Respect Life Ministries

Through the vehicles of the four pillars for pro-life efforts in America (Public Information & Education, Public Policy, Pastoral Care, and Prayer), as set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and as is prescribed in Saint Pope John Paul II’s Encyclical Evangelium Vitae, the Archdiocese of Chicago Respect Life seeks to transform society into a Culture of Life where every human being is valued and protected from the moment of conception to natural death.  We support our mission by educating and inspiring the people throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago to understand the truth about why and how we are created in God’s image of love, especially according to the teachings found in Saint Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.
